Being a birth worker is heart work - but it’s also hard work.
When you join Beehive Collective, you’re not just joining a directory or a backup list. You’re joining a mentorship-based community led by someone who’s been where you are. We offer a 10-week mentorship program designed to give you tools, confidence, and real-world guidance. There are also monthly collective meetings to stay grounded and connected. You get backup systems that protect your energy, clear contracts and shared resources, and a network of likeminded birth workers who truly have your back.

Nope. We welcome doulas at all stages, including those still in training. If you’re committed to showing up with presence, compassion, and a willingness to learn, you’re in the right place.
Our mentorship program runs for 10 weeks and includes structured topics, real-world guidance, and space for honest conversations. We cover everything from client communication to birth logistics, boundary-setting, and sustainable practice-building.
Doulas in the collective operate independently but receive client referrals through the Beehive network in exchange for a fee. If a client books one of our packages, we’ll handle all billing and admin and pay you directly. We also offer optional guidance on how to set up your own invoicing tools, contracts and pricing!
YeS! This is a core part of how we do things. Our collective operates with a 12-hour clause to reduce burnout and ensure clients are never left unsupported. You’ll be part of a system where backup is expected, not an afterthought.
Absolutely. Joining Beehive doesn’t limit your autonomy, it strengthens your foundation. We support your growth as a doula however that looks for you!
